Pre School challenge this week is to make/ write your own name in a variety of ways.

In nursery some of our children already enjoy forming their names, while some children will enjoy recognising their name at self registration.

We encourage children to explore writing their own name in many ways at first for example in shaving foam, corn flour, with chalk or forming it using pasta!

If your child is not ready for this stage just yet that is also fine. You can encourage them to explore sensory ideas like the ones above.

Can you find a great way to show us your name? 

When you have explored this activity, take a picture of your creation and send it to your key person.
