Ice painting17 June 2020 (by Tracy Cottam (TCottam)) |
We hope you have all had a lovely day.
Today some of our children in babies and toddlers have been using ice cubes on sticks as a way of painting.
To make them we used an ice cube tray and added different food colourings to the water.
We then put lolly sticks into each cube and popped them in the freezer.
When ready we popped them out of their tray and used the coloured ice cubes to mark make.
Have a go at home
May be you could introduce colour mixing when you add different food colourings before putting them into the freezer.
See if your child can guess what colour they might make
Why don't you have a try at home and send in a picture of what you created.
