We have been exploring the book, The Woolly Bear Caterpillar and learning all about the lifecycle it goes through to become a Garden Tiger Moth.
Children have enjoyed making musical rice shakers, in preparation for exploring instruments next week. They have really enjoyed the topic so far, becoming familiar with terms such as dynamics and tempo.
In our creative area, children have made their own caterpillars from a range of materials.
Thank you to everyone who has brought their reading books back this week. We would like them to be returned everyday, this is something that happens in year 1 and is good preparation for them. We will also be aiming to read with each child at least once a week. Books will still be changed on a Friday.
