We have had another busy week in Reception! Lots of fun and lots of learning.
In maths, we have been practising careful counting and exploring composition of number up to 5. In literacy, we completed our final week on the book, Amazing. We talked about how we are all different and the many wonderful things that make each of us amazing.
The children have loved our new autumn cafe, exploring resources and developing their communication and language skills.
We had a special science assembly on Wednesday. A visitor from the Royal Institution of Science, treated the children to a great show with exciting experiments, exploring how science is all around us.
Reading books have been sent out this week. Please take note of the day your child’s book will be changed and ensure packs are returned to school on this date. This is labelled in their reading record. We cannot update their books if packs/books are not returned on the correct day.
